Nepal Wellness Retreat
Cultivation of the Spiritual Light
The ancients paid attention to the three elements of “Heaven, Earth and Man”, which correspond to time, space and event. We are nourished by this natural order. Everything comes into the optimal state when heaven, earth and human are connected as one. It is most suitable to practice meditation at the mountains. The temperature on the mountain is close to zero degree, yet you will sweat at night when you sleep. In this condition, the Qi harnessed will penetrate deep into the bone marrows, which will promote profound changes. When practicing on lower terrains with higher temperatures, profuse sweating occurs, and the Qi will tend to dissipate outwards. Hence, geography is important when it comes to meditative practices.
At one of the chosen sites for practice in Nepal, there is a rock that bears resemblance to a golden yellow cube in a location opposite to the “Yellow Court” (黄庭 Huang Ting) position. Situated above the “Yellow Court” is the “Red Palace” (降宫 Jiang Gong). The “Red Palace” is a shrine located in the “Illuminated Hall” (明堂 Ming Tang) of the “Yellow Court”. This is the abode of our enlightened spirit when we have perfected our spiritual light through meditative practices. The physical location of this “Red Palace” is inside a “vacuum meridian opening” behind our stomach. It is built on a land of golden yellow. We need to leverage on the “Central Palace” (中宫) of the Earth to aid in the cultivation of our spiritual light and achieve spiritual perfection as soon as possible
The “Yellow Court” is the location of the true heart. The true heart and true intention merge at the “Yellow Court” which is known as the “heart centre”. In Tantra, it is referred as the “Yue Liang Palace” (越量宫). In this centre is the Dharmakaya. To manifest this Dharmakaya, it is necessary to combine both the external and internal forces of immeasurable light. The use of external force is the elimination of karma with the assistance from the power of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, through participation of pujas (mass prayer sessions). The use of internal force is the energy of the eight returning dragon meridians, creating resonance within and thus releasing immeasurable light. We can only truly attain enlightenment with the combination of both forces.
During the cultivation journey in Nepal, practitioners will visit the temple of Shakyamuni Buddha and discover the secret behind the Stupa. We will also visit Lumbini, the birthplace of Shakyamuni Buddha, and do meditative practices in the Cave of Padmasmbhava. The Cave of Padmasmbhava is unique. It is the cave where the Padmasmbhava achieved enlightenment. The Heavenly Masters are connected to these special time and space and bring their blessings with them. The whole journey’s focus will be on spiritual cultivation and the elevation of the practitioners’ life energy.
After Master Zhang activated the dragon meridian at the Kathmandu Park, the tree on the meridian line was revived and flourishing in less than two weeks. Imagine what will happen when we practice at the dragon meridian?
