Light is the vital energy needed by every living being. The dedication of light is a way to help all beings from all walks of life to obtain immeasurable light. After we pass on, the road to the netherworld is dark.
To illuminate the road to the netherworld, it depends on how much light offering we provide in this lifetime. The more they are and the brighter the path. According to the law of mass-energy equivalence, energy can be converted into matter, and the energy can be stored for future use.
光明是每一个众生所需要的生命能，供灯是为了帮助各界众生获得无量光明而做的法能布施。我们在往生之后，那条幽冥之路极其黑暗，要想照亮幽冥之路，就看我们生前供了多少灯，供得越多，幽冥之路越光明。这是质能互换定律，所以我们要在生前储存能量，以便往生后使用。
