At dawn on September 8, 2025, as sunlight touched Kuala Lumpur’s runway, I set out on a pilgrimage in search of the Dao and the Dharma.
Born into a family of physicians and martial artists, I have spent over thirty years in practice, guided by the wisdom of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Daoism. After years of seeking and reciting the Yellow Court Scripture a thousand times, destiny led me to Master Zhang Bu Sheng. The first time I heard him teach, his voice — radiant with compassion and power — struck my heart. I knew I had found the Master I had long sought. My only wish was to take refuge, seek the Dharma, and inherit the sacred lineage.
At the Cameron Highlands retreat, Master Zhang began with a thunderous awakening — the Zen stick and shout: “When will you die?” He reminded us that every being already possesses the wisdom of the Tathāgata, yet most live disconnected from it, chasing trivial gains instead of awakening their true nature. He taught that every thought and action generates karma, and the weight of ancestral and personal deeds continues to shape our lives.
Out of boundless compassion, Master Zhang Bu Sheng performed rituals and transference of merit, settling karmic obstacles and guiding these beings to cultivate alongside us. 【Program Structure】
• Three-Level Progressive Design: The program is structured into three levels, with progressively deeper content. Each level spans one year, and participants will receive corresponding certificates upon completion.
• Global Classes: Held at various spiritual spots worldwide, with six sessions per year, five-day intensive in-person sessions every two months, which can also be attended synchronously via online classes.
• Group Practice: online and offline group practice sessions are organized to review and reinforce newly learned content, encouraging mutual progress

In China’s Daoist tradition, lineage is essential. Being connected to a true lineage grants permission to cultivate, receive blessings from past masters, and practice authentically. On the final day of Supreme Taoist Lineage: Celestial Elixir & Divine Cultivation, Master Zhang connected us to this sacred lineage, invoking Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, heavenly deities, and ancestral masters. We could feel the empowerment — the Five-Colored Elixirs in our hands grew heavier, while our bodies and minds filled with lightness, serenity, and Dharma joy.
Heaven has its celestial heart, Earth has its terrestrial heart, and humanity has its human heart. The celestial heart dwells above, the terrestrial heart below, and the human heart abides within the Yellow Court. The Vajra Heart that Master revealed from his own Mind-Hidden Treasure was to establish a heart for Heaven and Earth — its outer manifestation is our Vajra Heart. Within the vast and boundless cosmos, we establish the Vajra Heart as the heart of Heaven and Earth. By merging the two realms of Yin and Yang, we also establish our own, installing the Vajra Heart within the Yellow Court. As qi harmonizes, five-colored radiance flows forth, nourishing the three cavities, three Dantian, and three Mysterious Pearls.
The Dao is a path of the heart, transmitted only through a teacher. Subtle methods, heart formulas, and oral instructions were imprinted into our eighth consciousness, giving each disciple experiential realization and ongoing energetic support. He selflessly revealed all secret formulas and empowerments — Hayagrīva, Manjushri’s twin wisdom swords, and Padmasambhava — tailored to each disciple, helping us swiftly attain the Great Way of the Golden Elixir. Through the Heavenly Diagram Practice, we were guided to ascend in a single step, realizing unity between Heaven and humanity.

Why did we go to Cameron Highlands for retreat?

Geographically, it lies at the core of the Southeast Dragon, an extension of the Himalayan–Kunlun Dragon Vein. Master Zhang led us to cultivate the Iron Bridge and Perineum Training amidst misty mid-mountain qi, nourishing kidney essence. Even at home, mindful intent reconnects us with that field.
In the three-dimensional world, our bodies and minds are often rigid. To relax and let the Primordial Spirit take command, Master Zhang taught us to dance with the Five-Colored Banner — moving freely with the heart, emptying and liberating the body, and deepening joy with every motion.
Amid the chaos of the world, Bhutan remains a pure land. Out of great compassion and vision, Master Zhang Bu Sheng has vowed to establish a Buddha Land there, with a World Buddhist University and Vajrayāna Center. These institutions will transmit Zen, Tantra, and Pure Land teachings, alongside a Confucius Institute teaching sincerity and right intention, and a Daoist Academy covering Elixir, Medicine, Divination and Astral Studies, Physiognomy, as well as studies of the world’s great religions.
