2026 New Year Disaster-Relief & Blessing Grand Puja
Completion Report & Global Vision Highlights

🙏 Auspicious causes and conditions aligned.

On 1 March 2026, the Fire Horse–Red Goat Transition · New Year Disaster-Relief & Blessing Grand Puja was solemnly and successfully held at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, Level 4 – Roselle Junior Ballroom, Singapore.

The event took place during a pivotal year marked by the convergence of the Fire Horse–Red Goat karmic cycle and the Period 9 Fire Element Era—a time widely associated with intensified global change, instability, natural disasters, wars and transformation. Against this backdrop, the organizer, Chinese Cultural Promotion Society (Singapore), anchored the Puja on the guiding principle of:
Self-cultivation combined with spiritual empowerment, to collectively navigate transformative times.

Through collective prayer, authentic ritual practice, and disciplined intention, participants gathered to establish stability—not only for the wider world and all beings, but also for their personal life foundations.

The Puja was conducted in a solemn and orderly atmosphere and broadcast globally via live stream, enabling participants worldwide to take part simultaneously.

Establishing Right View
Applying Buddhist Wisdom in Modern Life

Morning, the program opened with a Dharma teaching by Master Zhang Bu Sheng, widely recognized for integrating Buddhist, Daoist, and Confucian principles into practical modern cultivation.

Drawing from contemporary social realities, Master Zhang Bu Sheng addressed:
• The functional distinctions between Theravāda, Mahāyāna, and Vajrayāna traditions
• How lay practitioners can cultivate wisdom while balancing career, family, and social responsibilities
• How Buddhist practice serves as a method for life alignment and inner clarity, rather than merely a means of seeking peace or good fortune

He emphasized that authentic cultivation does not withdraw from worldly life, but clarifies direction within it.

True practice involves understanding cause and effect, refining conduct, and transforming one’s inner structure—enabling not only stability and wellbeing, but long-term realization and personal growth.

This session directly addressed the modern condition of constant pressure and fragmentation, offering a practical, structured, and applicable framework that resonated strongly with both on-site and online audiences.

Wealth as Support, Not Pursuit
Ethical Prosperity and Right Use of Resources

In the afternoon, the program included a wealth-blessing segment focused on cultivating ethical prosperity and responsible use of material resources.

Master Zhang Bu Sheng reiterated that wealth-related practices are not about accumulation alone, but about cultivating the conditions that allow resources to arise, stabilize, and circulate constructively.

Participants were guided to reflect on:
• The origins of prosperity
• The responsibility accompanying abundance
• The importance of aligning material resources with virtue and service

This segment emphasized that when merit and wisdom guide material resources, wealth becomes a support for personal stability and social contribution, rather than a source of anxiety or imbalance.

Ritual Practice & Yearly Alignment
In the evening, participants engaged in structured ritual observances conducted according to traditional protocols, including homage to celestial and earthly guardians associated with time cycles, stability, and ethical order.

These observances symbolized the formal establishment of:
• Personal and family stability
• Career and livelihood alignment
• Harmonious transition into the new year

The rituals emphasized responsibility, continuity, and accountability across time cycles—reinforcing the importance of disciplined conduct and long-term perspective.

Fire Offering: Clearing & Activation
Later that night, a Homa Fire Offering was conducted in full accordance with ritual tradition.

The fire symbolized the release of accumulated obstacles, unresolved patterns, and stagnation from the past year, while simultaneously marking the activation of a new cycle grounded in clarity and discipline.

Upon completion, all merits were dedicated to participants and the broader collective, with aspirations for:
• Reduced karmic burden
• Growth in wisdom and stability
• Ethical prosperity
• Social harmony and long-term balance

One Puja · Three Dimensions
Reviewing the full program, the Puja consistently reflected three core dimensions:
• Cultivation — right view, disciplined conduct, ethical prosperity
• Stability — personal, familial, and social grounding
• Transformation — long-term life alignment rather than short-term change

Master Zhang Bu Sheng emphasized that in periods of accelerated transformation, lasting stability arises from internal clarity and disciplined intention, not external control.
