Successfully Held FDI Bhutan Investment Briefing, Great Buddha Prayer Ceremony, Kalachakra Mandala Transformation Ritual, and Hayagriva Empowerment

On November 6, 2025, the OOSS team embarked on a profound journey blending business perspective with spiritual and cultural exchanges. The day began with a comprehensive Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) briefing by Bhutan’s FDI office, where the team explored Bhutan’s investment policies, opportunities, and industrial landscape, establishing a strong foundation for future collaboration.
After the business session, the team made their way to the Buddha Dordenma, where they participated in the Global Peace Prayer Festival. During the event, the Kalachakra Mandala was ceremoniously established at the Buddha Dordenma Square. Following the Kalachakra tradition, the Mandala was surrounded by symbolic offerings representing all sentient beings. Through the collective practice of monastics and attendees, all negative energies—causing harm, illness, poverty, and environmental destruction—were invited to the Mandala and offered up, allowing them to be fulfilled and cease troubling sentient beings.
The Kalachakra Mandala, embodying the cosmic power of transformation, revealed wisdom through external, internal, and transcendent layers of transformation. It swiftly purifies karmic obstacles, dispels barriers, and amplifies blessings, making it an exceptionally powerful practice for protection, national prosperity, and the alleviation of suffering.
In the sacred atmosphere, OOSS team members reverently circled the Mandala, making offerings and prayers. Under its powerful blessings, they invoked the transformation of their karmic burdens, calling for a brighter, more auspicious future. Later, Master Zhang Bu Sheng guided the team in a profound confession ritual, performed between the Buddha Dordenma and the Mandala. Their heartfelt prayers were dedicated to all sentient beings, with hopes for the swift purification of karmic obstacles and the firm grounding of their spiritual paths.
After the Mandala practice, the team visited the Buddha Hall inside the Buddha Dordenma. During the Global Peace Prayer Festival, they had the rare privilege of paying homage to the precious Buddha relics and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the hall. The experience was deeply auspicious.
The team then meditated in the Buddha Dordenma Square, harnessing the Mandala’s energy and the collective practice of monks and laypeople. Through this, they deeply experienced the Kalachakra teachings on the purification and awakening of “external, internal, and transcendent Kalachakra.” Many participants felt profound physical and mental relaxation, along with an expanded state of consciousness.
In the afternoon, the team journeyed to Deolma Choekhang to receive the Hayagriva empowerment from the esteemed His Eminence Tsula Lopen Rinpoche. Hayagriva, the wrathful embodiment of Avalokiteshvara, wields fierce power to shatter karmic obstacles and dispel negative forces, particularly adept at eliminating disease, fear, and unfavorable conditions. Through this empowerment, practitioners swiftly clear obstacles and purify negative karma, gaining potent protection that ensures success and harmony in health, career, and spiritual growth.
This journey seamlessly blended business insights, cultural depth, and spiritual blessings, offering the team not only a deeper understanding of Bhutan’s development but also purification, empowerment, and inspiration on a spiritual level. The OOSS team will carry this newfound strength into upcoming prayer ceremonies and future global collaborations.
